March for Medicaid Rally

On July 30, Disability Network Michigan and Michigan’s Centers for Independent Living (CILs) joined fellow members of the Protect MI Care Coalition, advocates, and community members from across the state at the Michigan State Capitol to celebrate 61 years of Medicaid and advocate for its future.

Together, Disability Network Michigan and our statewide CIL network were proud to have a strong presence at the rally, standing alongside coalition partners to raise awareness about the importance of protecting Medicaid.

As a member of the Protect MI Care Coalition, Disability Network Michigan is committed to protecting access to Medicaid because it helps people with disabilities maintain their independence, access essential home- and community-based services, and fully participate in their communities.
